The infatuation with logic and mechanical thinking shaping consensuses discards the crucial fact that we cannot observe and analyze the universe we are part of without including ourselves… in other words, what is good for humans is good for the planet and otherwise.
Therefore, right and wrong are embedded in the universe's fabric.
Look at the disasters caused by the discoveries of plastic and antibiotics, for example. Today, we find microplastics in the Himalayas. The overuse of antibiotics has created superbugs that are resistant to them. There is a Clostridioides Difficile epidemic in the USA, claiming 500,000 new cases each year. We have been trained to react aggressively.
When a problem surfaces, we go into war mode, killing bacteria and viruses indiscriminately or removing the obstacle while it is stimulating our inner ecosystem instead that is needed. Our competition model prompts us to resort to drastic methods because we are repeatedly told that nature and humans are imperfect.

What is the difference here?
The real difference lies in the Pharmaceuticals’ bank accounts. Fear sells obviously pretty well.
We are headed for an unprecedented global downturn because of an erroneous assumption that life is a random and mechanical process. Yes, philosophy is essential, but it is not separate from physics.
Only a radical shift toward biophysics will save us and, in turn, will birth a new philosophy.

Even most scientists won’t object because they would have to acknowledge that modern science has been wrong all along and that their college degrees are no longer worth anything.
Every time we separate ourselves from nature, we create a deadly paradox.
One does not need a Ph.D. in economics to acknowledge our dire situation.
Technology disconnected us from nature because we have put profits before environmental health. The same is true about human health. And because everything seemed to be booming for a while, we invented stories to pat ourselves on the back.
So what is going to happen with General Intelligence, and which regards us as commodities?

He contended further that we entered a new era of wars two years ago. And he is correct so far. Anybody who has followed the transhumanist movement most likely also recalls all the rosy predictions made by the AI gurus over the last two decades, which is why so many regard General Intelligence as a universal panacea. A religion with a new savior.
Well, it's too bad because an era of war is lurking now. That is how and why society always falls for the promises of prosperity. They never come true or, in the best-case scenario, are short-lived.
The choice is ours. Either we continue believing in bad fairytales or stand for a REAL reset.
Everything is consciousness… the last 100 years of research must be abandoned, and people must rally behind humble and genuine scientists who understand the stakes of playing gods without knowing the long-term side effects.

Scientists must set the record straight, argues a new book. Scientists must take care not to substitute an old set of dogmas with a new one. It’s time to stop pretending that, give or take a few bits and pieces, we know how life works. Instead, we must let our ideas evolve as more discoveries are made in the coming decades. Sitting in uncertainty, while working to make those discoveries, will be biology’s great task for the twenty-first century.
