CRISPR and SynBio are really dangerous as they are not regulated. But even the term “regulated” does mean much anymore. Just like harmful GMOs, the biotech lobby just gets what it wants and is free to manipulate the human genome at will. Actually scientists have already created semisynthetic organisms… why going so far? People have the right to know what is really going on, because creating human-hybrids and super intelligent babies is eugenics in disguise. Science operates under a veil of secrecy and only allows “some” of its research to reach out the mainstream — something we should all worry about. Not to mention that some household products already contain nanotechnology whose long-terms side effects we don’t know about yet. Scientists are not above Nature.
